Swifts eat and sleep in the air

Today I am going to tell you about a text that is called  Swifts that  eat and sleep in the air. Did you know that swifts can fly four whole years without landing. Also they are the fastest flyers on earth, they are nearly extinct though. The part that I found most interesting was learning how long they can fly without landing because I thought that they could only fly for a few hours and then land. I am sharing this part of my learning because then you get to know some fun facts about swifts. Have you ever learnt about swifts before?

Today I am  going to tell you about flying cars. They can fly in the air really high and  you must  have a pilot licence to drive them.The part in the story  that I most enjoyed was learning about how they can drive on land and drive in the sky. Jean Batten and her flying

                                Hi bloggers!!

Today I am going to tell you about Jean Batten. Jean Batten started out as a normal person with a normal life, but one day in the 1920's she had a thought about wanting to become a famous plane flyer. In 1929 she travelled to Sydney where she flew with an Australian pilot called Charles Kingsford Smith.  The thing that I most liked about learning about Jean Batten was when I got to read how she went all around the world. Olympics!!

                              Hi Bloggers!!

Hey bloggers!! Today I am going to tell you about the Olympics. If you don't know what the Olympics are they are when different countries vs other countries in games.

 There are lots of different sports that they play.For Example: They can  play Soccer, Archery, Diving, Gymnastics,Athletics,Swimming,Rugby and other sports. I learnt when I was watching one of the Olympics videos at home that when they do diving they all do the same dive but it depends who did it better. Here is a video of the Gymnastics.

What I did in the holidays:)

                                            Hey Bloggers!!

Today I am going to tell you about what I did in the holidays. In the holidays I went to my grandmas house. I went to my grandmas house every Tuesday,Wednesday and Friday. When I went to my grandmas house I watched to movies in one day. We also played games and played Maths Prodigy on our chromebooks. on another day at my grandmas house we  went to the park down the road. Another thing that we did was we went to the pools. Also in the holidays I also went to time zone and played lots of games and got 705 tickets. Also in the holidays my brother Archie had a birthday party at inflatable world and invited 9 boys and I didn't want to play with them so I got to take my friend Olivia.

End Of Term 2

                                                Hi Bloggers!!

Today I am going to tell you about my awesome term that I have had.

My goal for next term is... for me to get less distracted by my friends. That is my goal for next term because I get distracted sometimes. So if I try hard not to get distracted I will teach myself not to get distracted.

Also this Term I started to do winter sport for school,because when you get to a year 5 you do sport for the school. The options that you are given are netball,soccer and hockey. I do netball. It is super fun. For winter sports we go on a bus to Hornby high. 

This term my favourite activity was Reading. It was Reading because in Reading this term I have learnt about Antarctica, the 1918 deadly Flu Pandemic and Matariki.  My favourite was learning about the 1918 deadly flu pandemic.  It was my favourite because it's fun and I learnt lots.
